June 5th World Environment Day
This year our trainees decided to do their bit to save the planet by getting down and dirty!
We started off by showing our trainees some videos, explaining the ways in which we are destroying our planet and how we can prevent this by getting involved in planting seed bombs and saplings.
Each trainee was given a paper cup with their name on it, they made little balls of mud and dipped them in seeds of Tulsi, Methi and Coriander. They then dropped them in the cup full of coco peat and compost. Some of our students also planted saplings of Ginger, Turmeric and Aloe Vera.
Over the next couple of weeks our trainees will nurture them and then plant them in the ground near their houses.
