May 27 – we were blessed with a dry, sunny day and it turned out to be a day of fun and celebration! Suresh, our one and only barefoot runner with cerebral palsy from the 10K category showed his mettle by completing the 10 k in 1:25:47. We are very proud of his independent achievement. Our 12 students/staff and their attendants in the Champions with Disability Run also made us proud. It goes to show that ‘practice’ prepares you for success. A big shout out to our ‘Unstoppable’ iCare Fundraiser – Jacqueline Colaco and her enthusiastic buddy Kumaraswamy N.E. who showed us that nothing can stop you when you set your mind to having a good time. Last but not least, our enthusiastic and energetic team in the Majja Run outdid themselves with celebrating their run with a lot of fun and energy. A big ‘thank you’ to all the staff, students, parents, donors, well wishers for being with us and making this event one of celebration, fun, good health and supporting us in our work.
