Deloitte has been working with the Diya beneficiaries for a few years now. In the past, very meaningful sessions were done with the beneficiaries like shaving, garbage recycling, appropriate dress code etc. The Volunteers and students were divided into four groups to cover four important areas of learning:
- Social Media safety;
- Expressing emotions;
- Appropriate behaviours at workplace;
- Understanding relationships in life.
The volunteers had fun implementing the lesson plans and the students took away some important learnings on the topics discussed and role played. Post lunch, the students also had fun learning picture bingo and how to lace a shoe and other fun games. They had some juice and biscuits that were bought for snack time.
